The Origin 

It began at our kitchen table, with a simple intention: to feed our daughter clean, wholesome makhana and millets. 
What started as mindful nourishment for one child quickly grew into a pantry we wanted to share with our whole 
family — and, eventually, with yours

That was the spark behind Idha. 

Rooted in the earth and named after our daughter, Idha means "from the soil." This isn't just a venture to us — it's 
built with the same care, honesty, and devotion we bring to our own home. 

Why We Exist

Walk down any snack aisle and you'll find shelves full of over-processed food and misleading claims. Most brands 
chase artificial taste over genuine well-being. We saw the gap between what labels promised and what bodies 
actually needed — and decided to close it. 

We believe you shouldn't have to compromise. Food can be nutritious, rooted in tradition, and genuinely enjoyable  all at once. 

At Idha, we don't do "hero" products, because everything in our pantry is essential. We return to time-honored 
Indian staples — millets and makhana — simple, nutrient-dense ingredients that modern diets have overlooked, yet 
still hold the greatest power to nourish.

Over six years each in the corporate and HORECA world taught us how often the food industry sidelines nutrition 
for shelf life and artificial flavor. Becoming parents crystallized our priorities — health isn't a trend, it's the 
foundation of everything.
